I take photos and work
from photos so that I am sure that my work cannot
be challenged as unoriginal. Sometimes I plan my work
on the computer and then translate it into linocut
or woodblock. Sometimes I draw it out by hand. Sometimes
I draw my impressions of people or dogs or other animals
such as horses, because I was taught to do quick studies
at a junior college. That way people will know that
I was really there and I really saw what I depict
in my art work. All my work is studies for larger
work. Lately I have been using a book of designer
colors to make my work more attractive. |
